Jan, Peter e Jule stanno vivendo la loro giovinezza ribelle. Tutti e tre sono uniti dal sogno utopistico di voler cambiare il mondo. Jan e Peter diventano 'gli educatori' misteriosi propagatori di una filosofia non - violenta che mette in guardia i ricchi dal fatto che gli anni della vacche grasse sono finiti. Intanto la vulnerabile Jule finisce per innamorasi di entrambi i ragazzi. Presto pero' la situazione si complica ulteriormente quando un'operazione non va per il verso giusto ed i tre giovani vengono travolti dal vortice degli eventi e si trovano a dover fare i conti con i loro valori ed a scontrasi con la realta' e con gli ideali del resto del mondo.
